We welcome Mr. Joseph Foldi, P. Eng., M. Eng. as an associate of Q Group Inc.

Joe brings forty years experience in transformer engineering, including tenure as an assistant professor for transformer technology at a European university, and more than thirty years working with the three major North American transformer manufacturers.  Responsible for R&D, design and engineering management for large power transformers, shunt reactors up to 800 [kV], and specialty transformers including phase shifter, regulator, rectifier, and furnace applications, he has the expertise to solve your transformer issues.

A member of the IEEE Transformer Committee, chairperson of the IEC TC14 Power Transformer Canadian National Committee, cochairperson of CSA-C88 Power Transformers / Reactors Committee, CIGRE and other engineering societies, Mr. Foldi enjoys global recognition in his profession.
